Chance Encounter..

Karen and I rounded a corner on US-31 near I-65 and chanced upon this multiple balloon landing. We pulled over to watch, of course.

Tennessee River triple crossing...

Karen and I crossed three times: over, then back for these photos, then over again. There are very fine parks on both sides of the bridge.

Featured scenic bridge-way...

The cover photo of that year’s Road Atlas featured a cantelevered bridge snaking a graceful S-curve around two mountain tops. Karen and I got to ride it. The parkway snakes back and forth from one side to the other. We were in rain half the time, as it was raining on one side of the range but not on the other.
