Barometric Pressure
Version 0.02
perl gus_barometric_pressure.pl
Obtains barometric from nearby airport via NOAA website then compensates for local elevation. Perodically updates and also keeps a file record.
Formula used for calculating corrected baro pressure BP = SLBP * (1 - [ 6.8753*10**-6 * A ])**5.2559
BP: Local Barometric Pressure (In. Hg) SLBP: Barometric Pressure Corrected to Sea Level (In. Hg) A: Altitude (Feet), Holland’s altitude is 640 feet above sea level
